Science model exhibition at Tangla
A grand science model exhibition has been arranged at Arunodoi Academy at Tangla on October 21. The science exhibition has been arranged on the occasion of school's foundation day and will open for visitor till October 23. DN Hazarika,Circle Officer,Harisinga Revenue Circle,Tangla inaugurated the science model exhibition at 10 AM. A total of 65 attractive and innovative science models have been displayed by 128 numbers of students. A grand opening ceremony was held at the school premise on the occasion of the exhibition at 11 AM. Pranabjyoti Das, Principal,A Academy Junior Science College in his welcome speech proudly recalled the day on October 21 in 2006 when the school was established at Tangla.
Attending the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, Thaneswar Malakar,Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri expressed his happiness at the display of science models. On the occasion DC told students that they had to do many things in their life and so it was very much necessary to be confident with themselves to face any challenge in life. Referring present day unrest and disillusionment among student community, he requested teachers and parents to encourage students even at their failure so that they could face success and failure easily and learn to overcome any hurdles. According to him teachers and parents must not expect too much from students but to guide them according to their own choice of career .Students must understand society and to get involved with all kind of developments. The opening session was also addressed by DN Hazarika,Circle Officer,Harisinga Revenue Circle; Napoleon Daimari,Principal, Arunodoi Academy school and senior journalist Jayanta Kumar Das. More than 800 students and teachers of various schools of Tangla visited the science exhibition on the first day.
