Bhubaneswar and Ajanta give final election touch in Darrang and Udalguri


Bhubaneswar Kalita,president APCC has given the final touch of the Congress election campaign in 65 Kalaigaon LAC by attending a massive election rally at religious minority dominated Rajapukhuri and Bhehguri of Kalaigaon constituency on April 9 at 10 AM. More than 10000 people attended the rally which was organised by Congress in support of its candidate Rupa Rani Bhuan.It needs mention that this had been the last massive election rally in the constituency.The rally was held at Bherbheri HS play ground where AGP had organised an election rally few days back.Addressing people Bhubaneswar Kalita appealed voters to vote for Congress candidate Rupa Rani Bhuan.He further said that Congress would form the government in Dispur for the third term.But he did not make any negative comment against any political party, leader or candidate.Kandarpa Kalita.secretary of Darrang district Congress anchored the proceeding of the election meeting held at the same place.
Ajanta Neog,Minister,PWD,Assam also attended another election rally held at Kalaigaon town cattle market on April 8 at 11 AM in support of congress candidate Rupa Rani Bhuan in Kalaigaon LAC.More than 1000 people mostly woman attended the rally.She narrated the scenery when Congress had taken over government in 2001 administration was demoralised and broken in every field.She told people that an amount of Rs.18 corer had already been released for the reconstruction of MB road (lifeline of Darrang and Udalguri district) from Kalaigaon to Tangla (phase II).She criticised AGP for their emotional blackmail of the people of Assam.
