On the occasion, the Kargil Gunners also laid the foundations of the six lakh rupee 'Community Hall' which will constructed for the public under its Operation Sadbhavana flagship programme. The 'Community Hall' was a long standing request of the local people. The “Career Mela” and “National Integration Pledge” by various students leaders of the district, the “Silanyas Ceremony” of the 'Community Hall' and the “Van Mahotsav” were indeed some pioneering events in the history of the subdivision and brought smiles on the faces of one and all.
